Picknick nails

Imagine sitting in the sun with a cold drink, a plaid spread across a field and some snack sharing with your girlfriends… but on nails. Plaid, bows, flowers, fruits and more on nails is definitely a trend that’s gonna happen in spring 2025. Extra bonus points for making it all pastel colours.

Small embellishments and gems

Minimalists hate to see this trend coming but I promise you, it’s so so cute. Yes junk nails is still a fact in 2025 but the difference here is that minimalist can profit of this trend now too. And if you’re, lik ‘huh junk nails, what are you saying?’ Look it up but minimalists, I’ve warned you.

Icing on the cake

Maximalists, this one is for you. Ever want to have your nails look like you just dipped in a cake? Yes? Then we, nail techs, can draw this semi-permanently on your nails because icing is BACK as a trend this year. If you’re however a bit more minimalist by heart, you can opt for an icing look by having the very romantic looking swirls. This trend has a little bit for everyone.

Bug nails

For me, a bug would normally be a no no but as a small 3D-nail design? Yes please. Make it as cute as possible if you really want to follow this trend.

Flowers

Look, I can not make a blogpost about spring nail trends if there’s no mentioning of flowers. I have too however there’s a slight change in how we wore them last year. Last year it was big, bold and 3D and while the sculpted 3D-flower will stay for a while, it’s gonna be threatened by the cute flowers you’ll see beneath.

Romantic nails

As boring the title may be, romantic nails are the next big thing. I don’t know what’s in the air but lately all I see on TikTok is bohemian pinterest boards, Isabel Marant is making a comeback, petal pink and butter yellow are the next trendy colours and lace is also coming back in town? What’s happening? I think we are embracing our wild romantic souls for a bit. Capsule wardrobe, clean girl and coastal grandmother trends are gone, the romantic wild souls are here now and yes even on the nails.
