Soap nails and other nail trends, what’s new in 2025?

Trend nr.1 Greige is the new beige

When I first heard of this nail trend I was like: ‘huh? What in the hell does greige mean?’ Well you can kinda guess it but it’s a mix between grey, beige and pink.

This nail shade is gonna be alllll over your Pinterest board this year so if you’re a minimalist nail lover I think this colour is definitely something for you!

Trend nr.2 Soap nails

I blame TikTok for this because soap nails is nothing more then just clean, natural, BIAB-nails. I think soap nails is the reinvention of the clean girl aesthetic so if you want soap nails, just know that your nail tech is going to slam a BIAB on it. That being said, I’m a big fan of neutral clean nails!

Trend nr.3 Feeling blue

January is THE month for choosing a blue colour. Whether you like a baby blue pastel or a bright bolt blue, it doesn’t matter, in January you can pick any type of blue. And if you’re a big nail art fan, you can of course make your whoooole nail design in different blues. Now that I think about it, I may create another full on blue nail design. Hmmm…

Trend nr.4 Make it 3D-please

Even though 3D-nails were already a thing in 2024, I predict it’s gonna be on steroids i 2025. Shells, flowers and swirls were happening on our Insta feed already, but I think strawberries are definitely gonna make a come-back. Move over orange slices, strawberries are here now.

Trend nr.5 Pearls and embellishments

This trend is the most cute one for me because you can make it as big or as cute as you want. Pearls and gemstones are turned into a completely new concept and are made into a whole drawing (like the flower gardens you see on the pictures) Adding gemstones is like adding that little zest to a recipe. It.just.works.
